What is Flash My Router?

What if My Router Is Not Listed?

While the FlashRouters Privacy App simplifies VPN management on routers, not all routers can support the Privacy App. Many older models have memory constraints that make it impossible for us to install the Privacy App or the ExpressVPN Router App onto these routers.

Older models may still support firmware flashing, but may not have actively updated firmware builds. Meaning, these models can lack the latest open-source firmware features or even have unpatched security holes. Our expert technicians actively test the models listed above to find the newest, most stable firmware build available to ensure that users get the best experience possible.
