Where Can I Access Paramount+?
Viacom is touting Paramount+ as a “Global Streaming Service,” and, while it appears that it will be available in the United States, Australia, Latin America, and several Nordic countries including Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland; it’s not clear if the content provided will be different or restricted based on where you are viewing from. At FlashRouters, we have a solution for that.
Avoid Geo-Blocking When Streaming Paramount+ Content
To avoid the uncertainty of whether or not users can access specific content you can use a VPN! A VPN is a service that lets you encrypt your Internet connection and circumvent various restrictions while keeping your information secure.
This is done by routing your Internet connection and data to a secure VPN server, typically located in a different country. This allows your computer to appear as if it was virtually in any country, effectively preventing geo-blocking.
After your Internet connection reaches the VPN server, the VPN server then directs your connection to the website or service you’re trying to access. These websites and services only see your VPN connection rather than your personal home connection. In other words, if you’re staying in Canada, and would like to access your favorite CBS show, you can connect to a US VPN server and stream to your heart’s content.

The Ultimate Paramount+ Streaming Experience With FlashRouters
Do you know what’s better than watching your favorite CBS shows with a VPN? Watching them on a VPN-configured FlashRouter!
A FlashRouter is a powerful wireless router that comes pre-installed with open-source firmware called DD-WRT. The DD-WRT firmware enhances and upgrades the performance and features of wireless routers. The firmware lifts restrictions that are built into the default stock firmware that comes with store-bought routers. DD-WRT also allows for full VPN optimization.
Popular streaming devices like Roku and Apple TV have no native VPN support. Meaning, fans who want to watch Paramount Plus with VPN from abroad on their media players or gaming consoles can’t connect their favorite devices to a VPN as is. However, once they connect their favorite streaming device to a VPN-configured FlashRouter, it supports a VPN connection, and they can stream their favorite shows and movies with ease.
