Ethical hacking firm HackerOne released its annual report of the “Top 10 Most Impactful and Rewarded Vulnerability Types of 2020.” The company found that organizations paid ethical hackers over $20 million in bug bounties for finding flaws. Over the course of 2020, many companies, like Apple and ExpressVPN, embraced bug-bounty programs as a way to find flaws in their products.
